This can't be defended, can it?   He has to be reprimanded in some manner, doesn't he?

He was given an ultimatum to withdraw the apology or lose his ranking position on the committee. He has done so. You need to keep up with things, mallcontent.

I'm keeping up.   I know he apologized for his awful apology.   That doesn't undo the damage.   When you shoot somebody to death, even if you say you're sorry, we still expect you to be punished.   And who did he apologize to?   I don't think it was specifically to those agrieved.

Mall,

Will you be making any such comment about the federal law that was put in place after Exxon-Valdez that gives the gov't the funding, equipment, responsibility, and authority to be in charge of oil spills; and the fact that Barry and Janet failed in their leadership and response? You ignored my post on this matter when I posted that same law twice in other posts.

Your legal advice in the past has been at best dubious.   I don't know where you get it.   I don't think you search the code yourself.   I'm assuming some right wing source with an agenda.   Select what supports it and reject what doesn't.

I'm not going to try to chase down all your mistakes.

So Mal, do you think that our Vice-President should have been reprimended for dropping the f-bomb? Many people were offended by that but I didn't see you on here calling for some kind of public outcry and demanding some kind of apology.

BTW - I haven't seen BB handing out legal ADVICE. I have seen him post excerpts from laws but not legal advice - large difference.

I think he already apologized.   What kind of punishment do you suggest?

A lot of it looks like he's advising me on the law.

A person that compares a slip of the f-bomb said privately but overheard, to a public attack of words is being less than honest.

BTW - BB speaks often from the stand point of being an expert in law. He even confesses that law was one of his many careers. ADVICE? I'd say he gives it often.
