Beck Crowd

Posted in: Muscatine

You didn't answer the question (of course).  What do YOU mean by "separation of church and state"?

I'll bet she didn't read at qctimes.com either - she and tp would not want to read anything positive about Beck's rally. TP has the same habit of avoidance - when I asked for proof of BB's "documented lying" and to either put up or shut up - I got the silent treatment so I am presuming that means he in fact did shut up - but who knows? I know that it did not directly involve me but I got real tired of the third-grade name calling.

BTW HiR go back at look at your question to her - she said that we would not have "freedom of religion" either. I think that was her claim - she is so confused that she is hard to follow or make sense of her comments.

I think I did answer all your questions.   But I'll try another variation.   It means the government must not establish, support or favor any religion and the churches must not get involved in government but all are free to conduct their affairs as they please without government interference.    I'm sure you'll find this lacking too.

I didn't read it.   What was in that was relevent?   I figured you provided it because they counted the 87,000 people there and I already knew that number.   Remember my original question was about a reliable crowd estimate, nothing about content.

"It means the government must not establish, support or favor any religion and the churches must not get involved in government..."

What do you mean by "support"?

What do you mean by "religion"?

When you say "must not get involved in government", what do you mean by "involved" and "government"?

I would like to know specifically what you mean in regards to those words and phrases, as it is interesting to me how different people interpret and interpolate the constitution and bill of rights.
