C'mon comparing pedophiles to gay rights really. were talking consenting adults not criminal activity. it's ridiculous for free people in a free country to oppress other people because they don't like what they do. you might want to leave muscatine and explore this great country, because there is a lot going on out there that you don't see around here. they are people too they want the same things normal people want. life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. even if you and god think it's wrong it's their choice not yours or the governments. that is part of freedom excepting all freedoms even the ones you don't like!!!!

Okay Mobe.  What age is an adult?  It differs from state to state.  Anywhere from 16 to 21.  And for purposes of sex, pedophiles want that number lowered way, way down.  So how low do you want to go?  14 okay?  12 too much?  15 out of line?  9?  I mean heck, it's "their choices".  Are we going to let them make the call?  Just because we don't like what they do, can we tell them how to live their lives?

With the exception of Same Sex Marriages (SSM) we are close in agrement. Hardly worth a discussion or thought.

So on the topic of SSM, what grounds would you deny a person their freedoms.

In age of consent we're protecting the innocents of youth. In animals we're protecting the animal who clearly does not have a choice. In blood content and driving we're protecting unexpecting people of the danager. In SSM the people are two consenting adults that don't infringe on any of your rights. It appears your argument is strickly sexual bias.
