Just a few weeks after the lockout began and GPC came out and said the plant was runing more efficiently than ever should have been a clue that those men werent going to get back in.....damn if nobama gets involved..the union will own GPC just like they do G.M. and Chrysler......... What i've heard from people working in thier now is that GPC wants the right to dump the dead weight ........ive know people that worked thier who called in alot, screwed off at work....and who str8 up said if it werent for the union they wouldnt have a job...i've never worked anywhere that was union...and i only know what i'm told.....but what company whats to be told that they cant dump the deadbeats....i realize this will piss some of you off.......but ya have to look at it from both sides...if u owned a company and you had a group of people telling you what you could or couldnt do it wouldnt make you very happy....and on the other hand i feel for those men who cant go back to work to support thier families...the simple solution is to dump the union and those men may get to go back to work.............i've worked for companies in the past who stated if a union was brought in they would close thier doors.....what if the men had gone on strike? going on strike is simply saying "i wont go back to work until u give me what i want" thats basically a legal way to blackmail a company..and blackmail is illegal unless u belong to a union...i believe what unions stood for in the good old days were admirable....i believe what unions stand for today is greed.....one guy told me that under one of the proposals from the union would make it so that the guy pushing a broom would start at 18.00 an hr...and thats alot of money to just push a broom....... |
