Does anybody think we will have a reduction in air pollution coming from the 4th ward in the next few years?

It sounded like Representative Reichert assembled a good, knowledgeable group in a good place to discuss it.   He drew a crowd so there must be some interest in finally doing something about it.

Reduction....only when GPC finally closes.

Guess I missed the press report on this matter, both before and after. Reichert won't do anything because he can't.

He can't by himself but he can bring a little pressure from time to time and maybe others will join him.   It's a danger to our health and if nothing is done, there will no industrial expansion in Muscatine.   We are at the limit of air pollution for small particulates and likely other components.

Surely you are joking. He has no authority on these matters. They have to be assigned to the respective committees to take any action. So, the little doggie with his cute bow tie can say anything he wants in the press, and I'll just call him a cute little liar. Thank you.

Google his state website; then click biography; then see Committee Assignments at bottom of page; then click on Natural Resources and you will not find his name there; then click on sub-committees and you will not find his name there either.

So, DNR is the state agency regulating state pollution; it is under auspices of Natural Resources. He does not exist there. He gets his cute little puppy dog paws slapped if he acts out of committee. Maybe others will join him? Then they get slapped too.

You should really study your state government. GPC has been in violation for a long time....how come Reichert-puppy has not taken any action against them?
