He was given an ultimatum to withdraw the apology or lose his ranking position on the committee. He has done so. You need to keep up with things, mallcontent.

Will you be making any such comment about the federal law that was put in place after Exxon-Valdez that gives the gov't the funding, equipment, responsibility, and authority to be in charge of oil spills; and the fact that Barry and Janet failed in their leadership and response? You ignored my post on this matter when I posted that same law twice in other posts. I would think you cannot defend against this being a greater malfeasance than one congressman running off at the mouth; but you are free with criticism with that.
