Who is advocating just asking brown skinned people.  We have explained race is not a factor here, you keep brining it up.  Do you see them as brown skinned people?  I see them as people and if they do not have proper documentation then I see them as criminals.  Whether Canadian, German, French, Kenyan... well there is a thought.  Do you suppose Obama is undocumented.  He doesn't seem to want to show papers justifying otherwise. j/k   It is not about race.  It is about legal and illegal.

Kris Kobach, a University of Missouri-Kansas City law professor who helped write the Arizona legislation, said he anticipated legal challenges and carefully drafted the language. He said the state law is only prohibiting conduct already illegal under federal law.

 

The Obama/Holder/liberal outrage regarding the Arizona law is not about minority rights at all.  It's really about votes for the Democrat party.  The weasel politicians were counting on gaining amnesty for the thousands of illegals now in this country, banking on the fact that once legal they would vote  Democrat!  Even before amnesty, they were hoping through massive voter fraud to employ these illegals at the voting booth (they recognize that's the only chance they have in the upcoming elections).  The very idea of "proving your citizenship" throws a wrench in that plan.  And the impetus behind the Arizona law points out the fact that we probably don't want to give amnesty to illegals that are engaged in kidnapping, murder, drug smuggling, trashing our deserts, and ignoring the laws of our land.  No it's just not good press for the Dems at all.
